yello windo-shoppo!
Thursday, January 29

what a weeeeek.

went out with mama today to Her Shop.
did some sweeping & mopping there. sweett man.
haha, then met Genghis along with 2 of his friends.
they left early, so Genghis and I continued shopping. haha
then we shopped around Wisma, Taka & Far East.. but bought nothing in the end.
saw this jacket i really liked, but dint have my size, so we went along. haha.

had dinner with Genghis @ this noodle house in Far East.. it was great food. haha
and in the end i bought this CD album by Aaron Shust.
i like his songs man. full of praise.
very relaxed, very child-like, very faith-filled, and very heartfelt.

haha.

and this marks my shoutout for todayy!
(:

catch yall soon, on sat!

b.i.a from CNY
Tuesday, January 27

kciaos!

hey everybody~
back from KL a couple of days back, but dint really have a chance to type it all down.
probably its with the CNY thing going round, hah. but well, here i am.

KL was great, went there with 14 others.
twas super crazy la. ahaha.
reached KL @ 1.30pm on luxury bus, with personal TVs etc, and @ 3.30pm, we were at sunway lagoon!
the honourable feat we achieved was that we finished like 85& of the rides in like 2-3 hours. we just ran from one ride to the other. all the way with Dominic leading, of course. haha!
highlight was the Viking ride man... its massive and it could do a 360 degrees!
everyone screamed like mad, haha, especialy Yonghui and I. Dom went green. (:
the Scream Park was awesome.. its really the best haunted house i've ever been to. its super duper scary.. haha.

theres this section called 'Prison Break', where we try to find out way out from cages and mirrors and from blinking lights.
its a genius's work, really. from all 3D stuffs & the horror clip, the Scream Park producers are just zai. haha.

the Tomahawk was great as well. JO and Joanne kept going 'One more time!' haha. i gave up after the 2nd.
i mean its a super fast and super giddy ride.. couldnt take that. lol. you can check it out on youtube. haha. its... fun. (:
and i think in the end we felt tired leaving sunway because we spent all energy screaming ourselves coarse, and not from all the running. haha (:

we had dinner @ A&Ws, and i had the mozza burger. twas good. the root beer float was good.
everyone missed A&Ws, but not me, muahaha, cause im the only young one there... (:
supper was @ this tzi char place called 'SooKee'. food's great.. they have some great history going on behind its food receipes as well.

on the second day, we did super lot of shopping. just ran around (with Dom leading, of course we had to run) (:
we had lunch @ Sakura. the nasi lemak was great, and in comparison with SG's, they're way better. SG's nasi lemak should go out your tastebuds' windows. and the KING PRAWN NOODLE... *slurrpp* (:

then at night Yonghui and I went for Fish Spa while the more adventurous ones went for foot massage!
hahaha. its super duper funny. both of the screeeeaaammed in the shop like it was our business.
its super duper ticklish... both men screameeeeedddddd. hahahah.
feet felt clean after that though, but its horrifyingly ticklish. hahaha.

nothing much went on the third day, but a little more shopping.
Dom & Charleston both got 2 super nice looking jackets... man, they're going to tear singpost down this weekend. haha.
Dominic's brownish-black jacket's a killer. (:
Yong Hui got a 'Viva La Vida' one. haha. looks great too.
had lunch again @ Sakura's. this time everyone tar-pau-ed for those back in SG.
had to run to catch our bus back to SG though.

reached SG at 10pm and thats the end of the trip! haha.
theres loads more, but not gonna type. hah.

reunion with the Lims 2 days back was really nice.
the food wasnt great, but the atmosphere filled in everything.
it was really funny.. haha.
i think the reason why i've got my humor/nonsense is because of my genes from the Lims. haha.
after dinner, along with bro and 2 cousins, we played Left4Dead!
haha, its super fun la. no one was a burden because everyone was pretty good at CS, and i guess thats why we could finish each mission/chapter fast.. its super fun man.. in the end we gamed for 4 hours! haha
had prata after that, at 2.30am. haha.
gotta L4D soon again! (:

had reunion with all the Chowies yesterday @ Caipirinha, Greenwood Ave.
its a brazillian buffet restaurant, with pretty good ambience.
they serve all kinds of roasted meat, from pork to beef to mutton to chicken to fish. they had chickens' heart too. the food's just great! hahah. super nice.
ate really much, felt good too (:
took pretty much photos too. gonna upload em soon.

and then i stayed home today, did the dishes and watched 'Ip Man' with the family.
haha. how sweet of me. (:

in anycase, im looking forward to HeartFest...
cause im..
back.in.action from CNY!!
(:

and enjoy this song..
its played over and over again in my hotel room, which was shared with Dominic & Roy.
its a really nice chill-able song that soothes my oldbones and leaves me smiling. haha, enjoy~

Shoot the Moon - Norah Jones.

i just had a wonderful CNY season, hows yours? (:

run run, here we go, we run.
2009 will be beautiful.

here we go...
Zone F.

breakthroughs to breakthroughs.

she said,"In life, its never about how you begin. In life, its about how you end."
Sunday, January 18

had a great weekend.

i feel really deeply loved by some really special people in my life.
have been on dry, but somehow these people brought me back to my head.
loving people can be hard sometimes, i've had my own experience. yet these people still did, in a really big way.

i lost my phone but my line's back, and i received a particular message from someone close.
its was sent at 1.20pm on Saturday, just before Zone F serivce.
but reading it just an hour ago, the 6-worded message brought me to tears..
im speechless, but really touched..

Dominic's words rang in my head after Zone F - "you've got to take that something out of you.. and go for it." in this case, it took something out of them to love.
they went great lengths for a nobody. and i think it was the same great length that grew the 9 stones, the youth, and now Zone F.
then today Pastor said something and it rang a bell.. "only if you have been loved, then you can love."

theres this mystical beauty in and within church.
its mysterious, and at the same time such a beauty.
perhaps its the love of God and perhaps its the love for people.
in any case, its flowing around and im catching this lovebug..
its... really a beauty.
perhaps this is what attracts people to us,
and perhaps this is what attracts us to people.

putting love aside, Pastor Lia preached an awesome sermon, part 2 of BGR, on Sat...
3Ms and 3Cs.
"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me" wow..
something's stucked in my mind rgding that. its goes way deep inside.

played bowling after that. haha
Pastor was super awesomely good at bowling man. she topped 2 out of 3 games. Jon, Ivan and Joanne were great too, while we the mere mortals struggled hard to bowl. haha
Wayne was the classic macho-man-struggling-to-control-his-strength-on-the-bowling-ball-with-ultimate-grace.
he's so super funny. hahaha.

today was great too.
Pastor How preached another great sermon. ;)
co-dependant / inter-dependant.

in any case, the week's been good.
and im having another awesome week ahead.
value each day, and you'll value a week.
value each week, and you'll value a year.

through it all.
ciao! catch yall around..

from RHCP's Charlie:
we dont arrive, without a surprise.

2009 will be THE YEAR with THE TEAM. ;)

hmmm
Friday, January 16

its friday night.
and i really really cant wait for Zone F service..
i need it. im churning sick inside man.

hmm, i gotta go the river!
kciao!

(edits)
hmmm. im kinda liking and chilling to the RHCP.
Mark 'RD' Yen's influence.
i like the song 'under the bridge'

it says:
i dont ever wanna feel, like i did that day.
take me to the place i love,
take me all the way.

(:

above all, You love me.

and im never emo. ahaha

a page off the diary.
Thursday, January 15

had a ^)(&#)(@*!)^$ day yesterday.
woke up at around 11am and then met Genghis and Esther at 2.10pm.
we were supposed to meet at 1pm, but then Esther waited for the 2 men for an hour. haha..
lost my phone on a taxi, and theres a strong gut feeling the uncle kept the phone for himself.
oh welllls...

anyway the 3 of us visited Ngee Ann, and we got to talk to 3 directors of the school, so therfore really it was a priviledge.
knew alot more about the work scope and direction the courses were headin towards etc.
so yeah..
when we were about to leave and eat lunch we bumped into Yolanda, and she told us about the best canteen food in NP, and we headed there and had Kaki Yuko or something like that.. it was ok la. hahha.

then we went our separate ways at 5.30pm, and i went to Genghis's house!
woah i tell you.. the condo he lives in is literally like Paradise. for a moment i thought i was in heaven.. its just super shiok. just.super.shiok
there was a gym, swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, netball courts and loads of sculptures and greenery. and i bet the view from any apartment there is awesome -- the condo sits right beside a hill...
its like a wonderland/dreamhouse for me laaaa. hahaha
*envies Genghis* hahaha
i'll have to ton over his house SOON. :D

we chatted and chatted, and decided to feed/kill the koi fishes in the pond with bread. HAHA.
so we headed down to Cheers @ Esso where we bumped into Anita, the director of Mass Com at NP, and it turned out she was buying bread too, except to feed her family.

so anyway we headed back to Genghisland and started feeding the koi fishes.
out of sorrow/mischief, we decided to get the fishes stucked on dryland and started placing the bread on higher rocks so that in order to eat, they'll have to flip out of the pond, get the bread, and flip back into the pond. it was stupid, but it was great fun.

and this is also what you get if you have 2 creative/emo/sucidal/sadistic men together for 2 hours. Kevin Low joined in the fun when he returned from school, and with another jumbo pack of bread...
oh wells, then we had fun until 8pm and i headed home.

it was a nonsense evening spent, but well, i needed time to de-stress and go nonsensical too.
hahahahaha.
thank God for Genghis and Esther. :)

assured.
Tuesday, January 13

2009's great. even just being 10 days into it.
cant wait to get to the end of this year.. i just know it'll be a great year i'm living in.
Pst Lia said 'Value of a Day' last Saturday and its still stucked in my head.

60 taupoks!

food for thought.
Tuesday, January 6

2 nights ago, a question came into my mind as i lay in bed with the lights on.
it was out of the blue and it struck me with much intensity.
it brought me on to think more for 2009 and the plans i have.
it brought me on to think more for my life and people around me.

17's approaching in 3 months time but yet i feel stucked at a younger age.
i dont really like being a teen. haha. let me be a boy or be a man.
its kinda crappy stucked in between. its like having a body size in between Medium and Small. you dont fit in comfortably in either, you dont look good in either too.

Small too's small to fit in. Medium's too big for comfort.
i wish to live life as a Sec 2 again, but its all in the past.
i wish im living life as a Uni Stud, but thats a few more years down the road.
JC/Poly years are approaching. sure im excited, but im dreaded by the fact i've still got 2 - 3 more years of studying and to top it off, 2 years of NS.
its like having a pandan sponge cake with kaya icing on it. just... yucks.

i find myself a few decisions into adulthood. im clear about where im heading for in life, although its not crystal clear enough. its shady, but wipe a few years off and i'll be straight through into living as an adult. hope God brings me through.

in any case, i heard O'levels results will be out next week, if not the one after the next.
im not excited, really. im just pretty nervous, just like anyone else.

yup. thats all.
suddenly, i dont feel like blogging the rest of the post.
im just gonna leave this as it is.
now, im going to seek God.

tonight, im a 20% acting-matureand 80% wanting-God person.
i shall fit myself into the Medium sized shirt..
haha. catch yall soon.

gdnights and gdbye.

Hosanna,
Hosanna,
Hosanna in the highest..

(:
Sunday, January 4

hola! Heart Awards was great. haha.
the service feel was different and it was really fun. awesomic.
the Zone F dance was super hilarious and we revived the old ancient days when we did it in FTMS house's art gallery. haha.
"ohhhh... oh-uh babey (oo-ahh!) ... i wanna knoww... if you'll be my girlllll... (ooh-ahh!) "

above all, Dominic's sermonette spoke to my heart.
honoring the Man of God. (:
without honoring Pastors, you cant honor Dominic. and without honoring Dominic, you cant honor us.
what we are today, and what the church can be today, is what Pastors have given with their lives.
a life for another life, a dream for another dream. i guess thats what happened on Calvary too. and simply for that, give them glory.

bus tour was crazy as well. it was awesome seeing everyone taking responsibility for their schools. Cat High Cat High! its gonna be different this year! haha
highlight was the ride back to church... everyone was screaming their lungs out singing praise songs. 2 teams were battling it out, mainly girls vs guys (+Joanne) Joanne was brainstorming what songs to challenge the other team while Jason went mad and and Justin became the prototype monkey. hahah. it was just crazy la.

wooooohoooo, back to living the ordinary days.
everyone's back to school and im back to living life.
found alot of room to work on and its exciting all over again in a whole new way.
60 60 60. (:
cant wait to sow seeds and to farm againn.. YEAH!
60!

have a wonderful&purposeful week ahead.
ciao!

new post for a new year.
Thursday, January 1

hola!
2008 was good. it was really good, not exactly an awesome hyped-up year, but well enough. haha. also realised i've grown really much through the year. both spiritually and mentally. its just.. great!
fret not, its just the beginnings of leadership. oh yeahhhhhh

had a wonderful start to 2009!
countdown in church was incredibly fun with all the crazy people around. it was hugs after hugs and blessings with blessings. and cat high gang went around tossing people up in the air! oh man, it was just sooo fun. wahahaha. Dom's look on his face when we surrounded him was just priceless!

tonning over Dom's house that night was fun too. went over with Eeshen, Lumbin, Mark, Johncelin and Matthew. watched Rush Hour 2 and had nuggets. before we slept we tore John's *woohoo* hahaha. twas crazy.

oh well, last night of 08 was well-spent.
09's gonna be much better.
God, we heard 60! haha.

and to the rest of the mere mortals out there, back to schooling! haha

gdnights, have an awesome 09. (:

i love this pic.. haha (:
