have been going around looking at forums @ G4C on guits.
saw something i thought was worth a post.
"Reality is we do see the flaws and the scratches and the blings and the woods and the grain pattern and the brand and the list goes on and on.... Many of which, sometimes or most of the time, have no immediate or dramatic impact on the tone or playability. I think we all know that and agree.
Some of us are bothered by such things (to various extents) and some are not.
We also know that Willie Nelson with a big hole in his guitar still made great music throughout his career.
Some Christian artists almost never appear with the same guitar twice and are deemed no less spiritual.
Some people drive a 1.6L Toyota, some drive a 3L BMW... both can only carry 5 persons and observe the same traffic laws.
Some churches have 3 guitarists, 1 bassist, 2 keyboard players, 1 drummer, 1 percussionist and a 20-member choir. Some have just 3 instrumentalists and 1 backup singer.
Some of us make do with what we are blessed with and some enjoy the chase."
whoever and whatever we are, we all just serve one purpose.
we build the Kingdom.
think.
